One is invited to discover an ethereal, simple music here, in which guitars are in total complementarity with synths waves or aerial and harmonious larsens; then, one just has to lay on a musically pure, beautiful and captivating horizon. Music from French artist Un Jardin is sober, heavenly, and not overdubbed with unuseful arrangements; it then creates a real emotional sense which has not often beeen heard before. First sounding like folk music, it then sounds as new age, and is made of flights through clouds, or awaken dreams; it is delicate and surreal, deep and comfortable. One finds a warmth which was first missing, and that the artist creates with a few simple instruments; no drums, electro-acoustic guitar tunes, and soundwaves creates a total and delicate presence; sounds explore emptiness, and take us to a peaceful and inner journey through the composer's soul. In a garden, perhaps; in a place where vocals are a red thread which has to be followed. Vocals remind one of French singer Etienne Daho, bue also are impressively arranged and tuned, and then create a second musical basis to the music. First musical part is made of guitars, and second, complementary vocals. Tunes are amazingly arranged, and help Un Jardin create a new cloudy and foggy, but never cold, universe. All here is sensual, full of emotions, and sometimes sad, but passionate and pure. Un Jardin tends to compose an aerial, simple, hypnotizing music, and a perfect musical world; one feels like flying and dreaming through each song, and the artist's confidence go straight to one's heart and soul. This is a subtle, delicate, and precious EP which has to reveal its flavour, like a simple glass of wine, a cigarette, or a single lonesome and particular moment in life...
